High performance evacuated tube collector.
Can be mounted on the ground, a roof, or wall.
Low maintenance.
One broken tube doesn't stop the system from working.
20+ years lifespan.
Market leading efficiency.
Triple layer selective absorber coating; absorption coefficient greater than 94 %.
Outer thickness of evacuated tubes less than 1.8 mm
24 mm high conductivity heat pipe condenser with nickel-coated condenser surface.
Aluminum frame; strong structure, light weight.
Constant high pressure polyurethane foaming technology ensures outstanding insulation quality.
How do evacuated tubes work?
Evacuated tube solar thermal collectors use evacuated tubes to absorb solar energy and then transfer that energy to a heat pipe in the centre of the evacuated tube via aluminum fins. As the heat pipe is heated, the working liquid inside gets vaporized and rises to the top into the condenser. The condenser is inserted into manifold so when the system's circulating fluid flows over it, it cools down the heat pipe's working liquid and the working liquid condenses and returns to the bottom of the heat pipe. There it gets heated again and the process repeats for as long as the sun is shining. The tubes are surrounded by a vacuum in order to insulate them from the external environment, allowing them to reach high temperatures regardless of outside air temperature.

How many collectors do I need?
On average, each collector provides enough thermal energy to heat the domestic hot water for two people, provide space heating for 250 ft², or heating for a two person hot tub.
How much space do I need for the collectors?
The length of an array is static, however the height and width depend on the angle that the collectors are mounted. See the charts below for the length and width ranges for evacuated tube collectors.

Which tilt kit should I choose?
The optimal tilt for your collectors depends on where you live. Make sure to add the angle of the mounting surface to your tilt kit, e.g. if your roof has a 15° tilt and you've selected a 30° tilt kit then your system will have a 45° tilt. Wall mounted systems don't need tilt kits and are mounted flat against the wall, giving them an effective tilt of 90°. Find out more.
